Privacy Principles

 

The following principles underpin Cygnal's approach to respecting your privacy:

1. Your trust is important to us and we will use any personal information in a manner worthy of that trust.

2. We will provide clear information about how we use your personal information. We will never share it without your consent and always protect it to the best of our ability.

3. We will take all reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse and keep it secure.

Privacy Notice

This privacy notice applies to all customers, prospective customers and suppliers of Cygnal whose personal details may have been collected by Cygnal in the course of any business relationship.

Consent

When you visit carcomms.co.uk or cygnal.co.uk, or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically and you consent to receive communications from us electronically. You also consent to Cygnal holding your personal information such as is required to carry out our business with you. You consent that any personal information can be used by Cygnal to carry out that business and to inform you from time to time of any products or offers that we might have.

Children

We do not sell products for which children are a specific audience or target. Users of our website and services are assumed to be over the age of consent unless they inform us otherwise.

Information that we collect

We will only collect information that is required for us to carry our our legitimate advertised business. This may include name, address and contact details, payment, purchase and accounting details.   

 

Use of your information

We will only use your information to carry out our legitimate business with you. That may, occasionally, entail contacting you to inform you of your account status with us or to inform you of offers and products that might interest you. We may also contact you to give us your opinion on how we conduct ourselves with you, how our services are and your opinion of our products.

Sharing your personal details

We will never sell or share any of your information to any other company or person, under any circumstances.  

 

Messaging methods

Our usual method of contacting you would be by telephone or email. Only occasionally would text messaging be used to inform you of an appointment, but texts will NEVER be used for bulk or spam emails. We do not use automated telephone calling methods.

Transferring your details

Your personal details are held with Cygnal, at Cygnal's premises in the UK. The only exception to this might be if our server is hosted outside of the UK. In this instance, your details will still be under our sole control. Otherwise, your details would only be passed to other agencies when required by law.

Protecting your personal information

We will take all reasonable steps to safeguard your information whilst in our care. Access to your information digitally and on paperwork is restricted within Cygnal and to employees who require the information to carry out their legitimate duties.

Your Rights

If you have any questions or concerns, you can call 0191 5170888 any time and speak with a member of staff. By all means ask for the Managing Director and he will be pleased to take a call from any customer. Alternatively, you can make use of the 'Contact Us' forms on our website.

Please inform us if you think that your information with us has been misused in any way.

 

You have the right to tell us if you do not want to receive any contact from us in the future, would like a copy of the information that we hold on you or to correct or delete any of that information. We will not normally charge you for this.

Changes to our Policy Notice

We may change this notice at any time to conform with current legislation or best practices.
